Vintage and Second Hand Shopping at Glebe Markets - Sydney, Australia
I LOVE an outdoor market, especially if there are vintage and second hand goods, as well as local artisans and crafters! After a morning of stopping into some charity shops, my friend Jacquii and I headed to Glebe to check out Glebe Markets - located at Glebe Public School, happening every Saturday 10am-4pm!!
This is one of my favorite open air markets I’ve ever been to because there’s such a variety of vendors and sellers - as well as a handful of yummy beverage and food vendors to support. There were so many handcrafted goods and gifts, to trendy items and a bunch of vintage and second hand sellers. You’ll see a handful of students selling gently used items as well - which is great to see them able to make a little bit of cash (so it’s definitely more of a rummage vibe). But you really get a bit of everything here!

For lunch, we got gnocchi from @thegnocchiway, accompanied by a fresh sugarcane drink from @tallgrasscanejuice. Which we got to enjoy in this grassy area that had live music as well. We had to make sure to keep our food close since there were some bin chickens on the loose! They’re basically like seagulls that search and hang around for food, and they will snatch your food and snacks if you leave it unattended! Interested in becoming a vendor, check out the info here.
