Testing the Bissell Little Green Cleaning Machine (on dog urine)
Christmas present to myself, the Bissell Little Green machine (really I bought this a couple years ago or so when it went viral on TikTok or something), cause lucky has left me presents all over the rug. Took a bit more passes on the rug cause it’s shaggy, but cleans the couch nicely. It works though! See the before and after below of the tough spot in the rug. Now the space it all ready for Christmas dinner guests ✨✨✨
The rug had several urine spots, I did have to do 10+ passes of the water/solution with the Little Green and I was satisfied with the outcome. When I used the little green on the shorter, non shaggy rug the machine was much more effective in cleaning the urine out of the rug in 1-2 passes. This was also the case for upholstered furniture like my couch (which Lucky likes to pee on the corners of). Overall the machine seems effective in cleaning soiled or stained areas when the surface is short/woven fibers, but will still work on long fibered surfaces (like a shaggy rug), but will just take time. I’m really curious to see stains like coffee or something darker come out of light fabrics/surfaces but of course I don’t want to have to spill something to find out!
The machine is bigger than expected, but easy to put together and store. The cleaning solution that comes with it is only an 8 oz. trial-size Spot & Stain with Febreze Freshness formula, so I will need to restock with the 32oz size which should get me through 4 cleanings I believe.
