I made the swap over to solid dish soap about a year ago, and although it was a little bit of an adjustment compared to liquid dish soap - I’ve gotten the hang of using it and am converted! This is a easy swap within the household, especially since it’s just for kitchen use. Aside from dish soap, if you don’t want to swap out liquid hand soap for solid because you like the use of liquid hand soap, I suggest Blueland’s Foaming Hand soap for a sustainable option, which I recently started using. Paired with a natural round fiber brush, both are super easy to use and effective. If you’re looking for a way to be impactful without having to switch out many products in your household, these are simple ones especially if you’re looking to go more low waste this new year.

A round natural fiber brush or sponge to be able to wet and lather on top of the solid soap. The fiber brushes are cool because they’re coarse but not abrasive and can be repurposed to clean other parts of the home when they can no longer be used to wash dishes.
