Flower Fields in Carlsbad Visit for the End of the 2021 Season

We happened to snag extended weekend tickets for a trip down to the Flower Fields in Carlsbad in May. The last time I visited was 3 years or so ago, so I was definitely eager to return even if it was the end of the season, and get to take Scott (his first visit) as well. Usually the season will start up again in late March/early April (and from the notice on the Flower Field's website, looks like the flowers will be in bloom again next April - visit their website for up to date info. I love these fields because they grow one of my favorite flowers, the ranunculus. Although the season is over, there's lots done on the farm to prepare for the 2022 season. If you’re in the area or plan on visiting next year in the Spring, I hope you can make time to stop in at the Flower Fields!
