1 Year Wedding Anniversary - #Hitched2Hammond Wedding Video

I wanted to share our wedding video since I had gotten the edit a little before the new year and thought it would be a great way to mark our 1 year anniversary (March 28th)!

The beauty of having video is we can relive the best day of our lives over and over again. I literally sobbed when I saw the finished video because I got to feel all the emotions of our wedding day and really see how the day played out since it did all whizz by so quickly! So thankful for everyone that helped us and joined us to celebrate our love! Happy 1 Year Anniversary Scott Hammond!

I can’t emphasize enough the importance of video; if you know me, I LOVE photographs and that is definitely a must, but man oh man, video really does capture your day and take it to another level. I was very fortunate to be able to book my industry friends to film and have a dear friend of mind edit the footage as our wedding present. If you can find someone within your budget or willing to work with you to film, I 100000% recommend hiring that person (and or their team) - this is great to send to loved ones that may not necessarily be able to attend the wedding day. An alternative if you absolutely do not have room in your budget to hire a film team, (if your venue allows, which should be fine as long as you don’t have a family member or friend performing a service like being the DJ or MC - which venues will typically want someone who is a tried and true wedding industry professional), you can appoint 1-2 people that you know is somewhat tech savvy, won’t mind recording and have them film snippets throughout the getting ready, day and evening. These people do have to be dedicated to capturing the footage though, so you will want someone who is willing to put in the time - and won’t forget half way through the evening because they’ve had too much to drink. With how advanced phones are today, you can record stunning footage with mobile devices! Then use an app or movie editing software to edit yourself or have the friend/family member that filmed edit for you if they know how. #hitched2hammond
