Wearing Yellow for Summer 2018

It's officially the FIRST DAY OF SUMMER! Can you tell I'm excited?! As apart of my summer style series, I shot this sunny yellow cami dress with Casey; you can see the first look here. I'm really into this shade of yellow, especially for summer, and it pairs well with other vibrant colors if I want to color block. For this shoot concept, we were inspired by athleisure style, so I styled white trainers with the dress. To play off the yellow color, I finished the outfit with a simple pair of yellow flat lensed sunglasses.

For all of the looks though, I had hair and makeup artist Nicci keep my hair straight, but give me a more dramatic rusty red smokey eye to elevate the overall look from just being casual. To give this look a bit more coverage, I can throw a denim jacket over my shoulder or tie a denim button down around my waist. What are your favorite colors to wear during the summer?
