Taupe Sweater with White Jeans for Fall/Winter 2017
One of my fave and seamless ways to dress for the holidays (with all its get-togethers and shindigs glory), is styling a cozy sweater with white jeans and a pair of heels. The sweater (in this post) itself is versatile year round as it is a neutral taupe color, and can easily be worn with any other wash of jeans. This past weekend, I wore the sweater with a pair of distressed black jeans. The sweater also features a nice criss-cross back detail, I included a link to various criss-cross back sweater styles you can shop below.
This year, I brought out one of my favorite pair of Charles by Charles David heels, the 'Pact' heel in Rose Gold which just seems to instantly create a festive and dressier look compared to the same style heel I have in a nude color.
If I want to go for a dressier look aside from the rose gold heels, I can add a long sparkling necklace, or layer a few necklaces. The aviators that I wore with this look give it a more casual, brunch kind of vibe - but I could definitely wear the outfit to a Christmas or holiday gathering depending on how I accessorize or do my makeup application and hair styling.
