Mixing Prints and Textures for a Boho Look
With the heat wave we've been experiencing in so cal this Fall, I wanted to put together a look that didn't scream 'summer time', but would keep me somewhat cool and also have autumn vibes. I found this white sheer top and floral kimono on clearance at Cotton On, so they are unfortunately not shoppable unless you happen to stumble upon the 2 styles in-store (I linked similar styles below). The felt hat always adds that boho touch, and to contrast the soft fabrics of the top and kimono, I added a corduroy skirt with side lace up details, as well as studded black boots. To finish the look, I wore oversized round sunglasses adorned with a moon and star embellishment (I've been having a crazy thing for stars, moons and all things celestial lately). I've been seeing sheer tops styled under dresses and layered with camis, so I've styled a couple more different ways to wear sheer tops - stay tuned for those posts. For this look in particular, I could have worn a cami underneath, but I decided to style a black bralette because it was easier for me to wear. How would you style a sheer top? Shop this look below:
