Charity Shop Outfit from the British Heart Foundation

I honestly was really proud of these charity shop finds. I thrifted a £6.50 NEXT sweater and £4 Miss Selfridge (now ASOS) pleather pants from the British Heart Foundation in Worthing. This is a total of £10.50, coming out to about $14 USD, FOURTEEN! I usually like to pop into any charity shops while in town just to check out if there are any local treasures I can pick up. I was on the hunt for slightly elevated wardrobe pieces that I could style for a night out since there was a change to our itinerary, and I ended up staying overnight for a few more days (at our current location) unexpectedly, and therefore had not originally packed the right outfit that I was going to wear for a planned live music at the pub night. I liked the outfit so much, I re-wore it for a pub lunch at the Dragon.

The sweater/jumper is very thick but soft and not scratchy. And I love that it’s speckled with black and brown specks so I can style it with different colors, like these bright rusty brown pants! But I can easily style with a range of colors like black, brown, rust, khaki, cream and white. Can also wear with jeans, or throw over a skater skirt with a pair of tights. Although I might not get much wear from the pleather bottoms, I’m excited to bring the sweater/jumper with me to Japan next month and get a lot of wear at of it!
