Getting Ears Pierced at Studs Irvine Spectrum Center - BOGO Best Friend Promo

After our afternoon tea service at the Hello Kitty Cafe in the Irvine Spectrum Center, we walked by Studs and thought, hey let’s get our ears pierced - even better is that they had their 50% off piercing promo if you bring a friend (sis, mom, any plus 1!) Aside from my initial ear piercing that I got when I was a baby, all other piercings were done with a piercing gun at a Claire’s. Which I have heard is not great compared to the needle method due to possible damage that can be caused by the piercing gun.

Studs pricing includes: 1 piercing is typically $35, I got for $17.50 And you can get up to 4 piercings for the price ($32.50) of 1 - the price does not include the cost of jewelry. We were able to do a walk-in since it was not busy, and we just had to fill out waiver forms, and then pick the piercing location and earring. After paying, we were both taken into the piercing room that is more spacious for multiple people getting pierced (compared to the 1 piercing chair in the room across the way). I decided to add a third lobe piercing on my left ear, and picked the anodized twinkle heart flat back.

It was easy, painless for both of us, my face may say otherwise, but that’s me internally preparing myself - I do not have an issue with needles, but I think just the anticipation of anything happening, I usually look not too happy. But as you can see by the after photo, I am just fine and dandy! Darin was our piercer, and talked us through everything so we knew what to expect, the piercing itself took a couple seconds, and then just putting the earring into the piercing.

We were then given a run down on aftercare, so we also purchased the Neil Med Piercing Aftercare fine mist spray for $12(this was less expensive to purchase in store compared to say amazon, but I do have it linked here since studs online does not have it listed for purchase) - and got a little pouch with aftercare info, stickers & a loyalty card! The Neil Med Piercing Aftercare mist will be helpful during my upcoming travels because the bottle is within the carry on allowance, and also is not an aerosol can so I can travel with it and maintain my piercing aftercare. In total I spent $92.93 (piercing $17.50, earring $58 + spray $12 (+tax to earring and spray).
