This past week, I got the opportunity to preview the mobile pop up market, and celebrate the kick off of its tour. The preview event started off with a make your own bag charm bar, then onto grabbing a hot latte, and enjoying festive treats all while being serenaded with holiday classics.

After partaking in the festivities, I hopped onto the double decker bus to check out the exclusively selected gifts from various Irvine retail centers. The Merry Market Gift Guide, curated by Sara Santos, Irvine Company’s lead personal shopper, has curated a collection of festive finds, must-have gifts, and seasonal surprises. Hand-selected to inspire, delight, and make your holiday shopping feel effortless. You can see and shop all of the gift items here. Need a little extra help this holiday season? Check out Holly the Holiday Helper, get connected with your very own personal shopper, or give the gift of an Irvine Company Retail Properties Gift Card, which has limited edition holiday design for the month of November and December only.

After checking out the Merry Market, I popped into the Hello Kitty Cafe’s Bow Room to experience a part of their seasonal menu which includes their pink hot chocolate as well as some Hello Kitty Cafe classic favorites! The pink hot chocolate tastes like strawberry white chocolate! Have you been to the cafe, or the bow room in the back - they host afternoon tea services and cocktail hours there! Speaking of seasonal menu, you won’t want to miss the limited-edition holiday treats and sips available at various Irvine Company Retail restaurants/eateries/cafes - see what’s on the list here.

You know I couldn’t finish my preview of the festivities without a moment on the ice rink as well as a few ferris wheel rounds on the Giant Wheel! I had skated on this rink for several years, and the last time I was on the ice, I completely “ate it”. Not my finest moment, but I decided to brave the ice again, especially since it wasn’t too busy so I could more easily glide right into the side of the rink without taking anyone out along the way. Check out more details about the Irvine Spectrum Center Ice Rink here. And if you want to take in the holiday sights from above, go for a ride on the Giant Wheel - info on this attraction here.

The Irvine Company Retail Centers are jam packed with holiday fun this season, check out the event calendar for Irvine Spectrum Center, Fashion Island, The Market Place and Neighborhood Centers. Happy Holidays! Side note, the Santa Claus at this event was THE BEST! He joined in on some holiday dancing with me - I was really feeling the holiday spirit and cheer!
