I picked up these Cathy Doll Shiny Bear Lip Moist lippies while shopping in Hong Kong at SaSa. I just thought the packaging was way too cute, and because there were so many colors, and the bears are small and looked like gummy bears, I got all of the available colors. I also thought they would be more on the balm side (not much color payoff), and when I tried on and swatched, there was actually a lot of pigment and hydrating coverage.

Cathy Doll is apart of Thai cosmetics & beauty company, Karmart. The Cathy Doll Shiny Bear Lip Moist is available in 6 colors, and is a paraben-free formula with hyaluronic acid, avocado oil, shea butter, Vitamin E acetate and beeswax. Product photos show more of a shiny finish that looks like gloss to me, as you can see from my try-on/swatching on myself, it’s not as shiny, but to me looks hydrating compared to a lipstick. I would prefer to use this since it won’t try out my lips, but is still packed with alot of color. Since purchasing, there were 4 additional “Summer Colors” collection released, which features neon bears. The lip colors themselves are on the bright pink and coral/salmon hue family.
