Trying No1 Lounge Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 with Priority Pass

You know that we have to squeeze in an airport lounge when we know we’re flying out of an airport that has lounges we are able to access with Scott’s Priority Pass (a perk of his Platinum Amex Credit Card). We checked out another lounge in London Heathrow’s T3, but since it was full we went to try our luck at No1 Lounge and they were able to accomodate us. This lounge will seat you in an area based on how many people in your party, but they also have a variety of spaces to explore based on your mood or if you have kids with you.

Like many airport lounge, you can access it 3 hours before your departing flight. There’s a variety of self-serve hot, bakery and grazing foods available, a full bar (for basically bottomless mimosas) and hot drinks like coffee/tea and can we talk about the mini pancake maker?! lol I do love anything mini and bite size and there was also a variety of toppings and condiments for the mini pancakes which we got to enjoyed with the tarmac views! See an example menu here.

To avoid being turned away, with our priority pass membership, we can pre-book our spots starting at £6 per person, but we wanted to chance it since we weren’t 100% sure if we wanted to do a lounge. No1 Lounge can be accessed with a priority pass, lounge key or dragon pass memberships. There’s also an option of paying a walk up or pre-reserved fee of ~£45 (adult), ~ £20 (children). Some lounge amenities include:

  • Free and unlimited Wi-Fi

  • Charging points

  • Access to flight information screens

  • Comfortable seating

  • Runway view – the No1 Lounge at Heathrow T3 provides a view across the airfield, allowing you to watch the world fly by from the comfort of your seat

  • Toilets

  • Meeting rooms/spaces

To find the lounge: The No1 Lounge at Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 is located after security.

Once through security, leave the main concourse, going towards Gate 10 and follow signs for Lounge F and No1 Lounge.

As a Priority Pass holder, this is worth spending your time at pre-flight, because if I had to pay about ~£45/$61, it’s worth it if you can spend the max amount of time allowed in the lounge. Historically at an airport restuarant, I’m usually paying almost $20-30 for a full meal and alcoholic beverage (and if I’m doing fast food, I’m still looking at $12-15), with No1 Lounge, you can a variety of foods that you can keep coming back for more portions. There’s a bar that includes premium beers, wines, spirits & sparkling wine as well as other drink options in the lounge like soft drinks, coffee and hot beverages. Taking full advantage of the available food and beverage options is what really helps get the bang for your buck alongside not have to sit at a gate, you get comfy seating with nice views.
