I easily forget how close I am to the coast as I’m usually cooped up at home, but have been trying to push myself to get out more lately - especially when I have time on the weekends and when the weather is a bit more mild compared to the summer months. This past weekend Scott and I went to Laguna Beach, we brought my mom out as we were going to meet family friends but they ended up splitting up and we decided to just go get brunch since we were hungry. We did the weekend brunch at Las Brisas, followed by a stroll to Main Beach and down Forest Ave where there are many little shops and cafes.

Afterwards we walked back up to Urth Caffe to grab a couple beverages to enjoy whilst taking in the coastline and sunshine. Lucky had a really fun day getting to venture out.

Things to note, there is only the weekend brunch menu available at Las Brisas on the weekends, and they hostess will confirm with you so you’re not surprised when you sit down and there’s only pre-fixe options. We were able to get a spot with some of an ocean view, and thankfully nice little corner for Lucky to chill.
