Enjoying the Hove Seafront Promenade on a Sunny Day - East Sussex, England UK
When it’s sunny out in England, you can’t not enjoy it! The last couple of times I visited Hove, it was overcast and dreary so it was a treat to get to spend the morning there with the sunshine and warmth. We started at Breakfast at Tiffany’s of course and a classic English breakfast was in order. After breakfast, we then walked over to the Hove Lagoon where there’s the Big Beach Cafe. Scott and his aunt/uncle wanted to grab a Mr. Whippy ice cream. After ice cream, we continued our walk on the promenade, and it was so fun to see the colorful Hove beach huts opening up. They are typically all shut up when I visit, so now the owners or tenants were opening up and organizing their huts, or enjoying them by taking out their beach chairs and sitting in front.
I then spotted the cutest pink Mr. Whippy truck. I didn’t get my own Mr. Whippy earlier at the cafe, so I decided to get a strawberry slush topped with Mr. Whippy soft serve. I enjoyed this on my walk over to Rockwater Hove, a gorgeous restaurant and event space. There’s a rooftop terrace, bar & kitchen, and also shacks that serve food, coffee and snacks. We grabbed a pint from the bar and enjoyed it outside overlooking the water, it was a lovely way to enjoy the rest of the day (including dog watching).
