Sunday Roast at the Dragon Pub Colgate - Horsham, UK
The Dragon Pub Colgate is a staple for Scott and I whenever we’re in town. We visited on a Sunday this time around, so you know what that means - Sunday roast! Although I’m not that much of a Sunday roast type of girl usually, so I ordered something else! The pub has such an English charm to it, but has this elevated feel and a beautiful atrium style dining area (and also a great outdoor space to enjoy when the weather is warmer). There’s not anything that ever disappoints here! The scotch egg is especially tasty because of the runny, soft boiled egg; the camembert is so ooey gooey; and the pigs in blanket is really like pig in a blanket. It’s packed with flavor and the sausage is wrapped in bacon.
I like how they serve their Sunday roasts here, because your main plate has the protein and yorkshire pudding as the stars, and then the sides are served on a side plate and you can choose how much of it you would like. We also actually order puddings, or desserts, when we dine here too - because they are just so delectable.
