Celebrating a Birthday at the Topgolf Swing Suite in the Irvine Marriott (Virtual Experience)

Scott and I were throwing ideas back and forth for his birthday as he usually wants to take a trip, but his birthday fell right in the middle of the week and during a busy trade show that I was organizing for work. I remembered that there’s a Topgolf virtual experience at the Irvine Marriott, so I looked it up and to my surprise, it was only $65/hour. I was expecting it to be double that, so I put in motion to have his friends meet us there to surprise him. I told Scott that I wanted to take him to dinner for his birthday then to get drinks at YNK (You Never Know), the speakeasy located in the same hotel.

Located inside the Irvine Marriott hotel lobby, you can reserve the Topgolf Swing Suite for $65/hour that you can book Tuesday-Saturday between 3-10PM.

The Irvine Marriott Topgolf Swing Suite is an immersive social experience to enhance gatherings. I booked two time slots as I didn’t think 1 hour would be enough. You can have up to 8 guests, order food and drinks from their restaurant Floe Lounge, and there’s a variety of games aside from Topgolf & golf such as football, baseball, soccer, hockey and more (all equipment is available there). The room includes dedicated service to ensure your experience the best it possible can, we had the Topgolf Swing Suite coordinator Mei Mei was very attentive, ensured we knew how the room was set up, got our food and drinks, provided water bottles and helped get matches so we could light Scott’s birthday cake.

This is a great experience from a date night to a corporate event. RIght before us there had been a local alcohol company that had hosted an event in the space.

Things to note:
•Pay for your reservation after you’ve checked into the suite, it will include a $3 fee per time slot booking
•F&B will include an 18% service charge since you receive dedicated service, guests can open own tab + bill can be split 3 ways.
•Parking Validation is provided
•A 10 minute grace period will be allowed for one hour reservations, and 15 minutes for reservations with multiple hours.
•If your party has not arrived or called via phone within the grace period after your reservation time, Topgolf Swing Suite reserves the right to mark your reservation as a no-show or cancellation.
•Notify the hotel of any cancelations within 24 hours.
