Affordable Luggage Storage at London Heathrow Airport - Left Luggage

I get the worst anxiety knowing I have to lug around multiple suitcases from airport through public transit to hotel and back, especially during a short trip (like this side trip to Amsterdam). We decided to utilize luggage storage at Left Luggage located in Heathrow Airport since it was a nominal fee (~$76/£60 for 2 bags) compared to having to check the bags round trip (~$176/£140) and pay much more. Our airfare did not include checked bags so we would have either had to choose paying an astronomical amount to check the bags round trip, and trek around Amsterdam (a new city for us), with large bags but then also have to stuff them in our hotel room and then travel back to London with them. So we found this to be a much more economical and convenient option for us. Even if checked bags were included in our airfare, I wouldn’t have wanted to bring the bags with me because it’s just cumbersome to have to move around with bags that you won’t even use. By storing the large luggages at Heathrow, I could also offload a bulk of what I had initially packed and only bring exactly what I needed for the Amsterdam trip.

24-hour day and night CCTV monitoring
All items security screened

This was perfect for us as we dropped off the rental car, then took the shuttle bus to arrivals and left our luggage for storage before heading to departures for our flight to Amsterdam.

Coming back we would be moving into the arrivals halls to have to get to the underground so it worked out perfectly on collecting our luggage before heading into London. I discovered this storage service because I used to order pocket wifis that I would have to pick up from Left Luggage upon arriving from my long haul flight, and I would see that there were luggage storage options available. So this time around, I looked into it. It worked great for our needs!
