Staying at the ED Amsterdam Boutique Hotel
I was pleasantly surprised by our stay at the ED Amsterdam! The boutique hotel is a vibrant masterpiece of punchy wallpaper, statement furniture pieces and quirky artwork. Also conveniently located in the city centre - within walking steps to the start of the Singelgracht, the longest canal in Amsterdam and is the outer ring and start of the canal network. Also located is near Vondelpark and Museum Square. The hotel room was the perfect size for Scott and I, and actually featured this twin bed on the other side of a partition wall, so it could have fit 1 more person, or if it was two people in the room that didn’t want to share the full bed, then the two people can rock paper scissors for who will have to use the twin bed, but it was a nice private area (I may or may not have used it for a napping nook lol). Check in was a cinch, there’s a kiosk to check in if a staff member is not available, but the guy at the front graciously helped us, so we could be on our way.
Aside from all the personality bursting from the walls of the hotel, it’s great that they offer a variety of room options. From single to triple rooms, great for solo and group travelers. We had booked a triple room even though it was just two of us (most likely because of a deal), it worked out though to have a little extra space. So we had (1) Single Bed, (1) Double Bed, and the room is All rooms include:
