Dr. Martens 1461 Quad Platform Shoes Unboxing

I finally got around to sharing the unboxing of my Dr. Martens 1461 Oxford Quad Platforms. These shoes are the ultimate blend of style and versatility! These docs will literally take your style to new heights with the classic oxford design and a modern twist in the form of quad platforms.

From jeans and t-shirts to dresses and skirts, the styling possibilities are endless. These did take some getting use to with walking due to the weight of the platform, but I love these. I wear them to work, events, or for a casual look when running errands. I've gotten so many compliments on them since it's not the usual oxford or lace up boots. I did have a minor break in period for these, I would say 3-4 wears. I ordered a size 7 from Tilly’s, I figured I’d be able to easily return since I have several TIlly’s stores around me. This was a good fit, however I just can’t wear too thick of a sock. Do you have these docs? And if not, would you wear these?

The shoes are built from Polished Smooth leather and welted in place with our unmistakable yellow stitching. A twist on the classic Dr. Martens leather: durable, with a smooth and polished finish. Polished Smooth is the original Dr. Martens leather: super durable, with a smooth finish polished to a high shine. Clean with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish. Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch. Stacked on a 1.5" Quad sole. Imported.
