Using a Sisal Bag for Soap
Have you ever had a run in with a slippery solid soap in the bath or shower?! Left with small, awkward pieces of solid soap that you can’t quite hold and grip to use and lather up? Well I’ve got the perfect solution for you - this sisal soap saver bag.
Simple place your soap, shampoo or condition bar or leftover bits into the bag, cinch it, run it under water and lather with your hands. It works great as an exfoliator as well! When you’re finished using the bag, hang it up to dry (I’ll usually keep the soap in the bag due to laziness, but this that makes it difficult for the bag to dry properly). If the entire bag including the cord are 100% plant based then it can be completely composted. When the bag can no longer be used, toss it in the compost bin. For the sisal bag that I have, because the cord and bead are not compostable, I’ll have to remove it before I compost the sisal bag. Check out this page to shop sisal soap saver bag options!
