Simple Formal Wedding Guest Dress Attire

I just came back from a wedding in Central California and wanted to share what I wore. The wedding called for dressier attire and in black, champagne, grey or mauve for the ladies and black, grey or tan for the men; and I found the perfect strapless mauve dress while shopping at the mall that paired well with floral print heels I already had. I can’t believe I did this, as I’m usually much more prepared, but I forgot to bring a jacket or coat so I had to shop for one on the way up to the wedding location. I found a super cozy, faux fur jacket from the Guess outlet store, that really came in handy the evening of the wedding as temps dropped. While staying in San Luis Obispo, I shopped in their downtown area and found a couple cute bags, one of them being this faux croc box bag. I’ll definitely have to get more wear out of this dress - I love it! I kind of want to style it over or under a sheer top or blouse for a different look. Here are the details of this look:
