Smocked Dress and Rattan Crossbody Bag for Style Report Magazine

Smoked dresses and tops have been given a reboot this past Spring into Summer and I'm all about it. I remember when I was 13 or 14 and heading to the mall so I could purchase smocked cropped tops and peasant-style tops from shops like Charlotte Russe and Wet Seal.
What's great about a form fitting smocked dress like this one is that it looks like it gives me slight waist and hips because of how tightly gathered the fabric of the dress is. I also love that the dress has an off the shoulder neckline which is another hot trend right now - with the subdued periwinkle/lilac shade, the dress makes for a great canvas to pair with the rattan crossbody box bag.
