Styling White Denim For Summer Series - Part 1
I was on the hunt for a wide brim boater hat and finally got my hands on one, therefore I have been wearing it almost non-stop since the start of Summer. In attempts to stay cool and find alternatives to wearing dresses and rompers these days, I have opted to style white and lighter washed denim. I found a pair of distressed white jeans as well as a pair of cut off white jean shorts that make for the perfect staple bottoms for the summer.
With a mere change of top and shoes I can seamlessly wear the same bottoms throughout the entire season, and they make for an effortless transition from daytime beach or pool style to an evening night out or for a social gathering.
For these white jeans, I added more color and dimension with a ruffle sleeved top - and in pink! I don't typically wear this bubblegum shade of pink but I was drawn to it, probably because I'm trying to adventure out of my color comfort zone.
To finish the look, I added a fun pair of yellow lensed sunglasses and slipped on a pair of faux suede mules. This look can be worn from brunch, to the farmer's market, to happy hour. Get the look below and stay tuned for the next white denim look!
