Light Blue Lace Mermaid Dress + Quartz Crown
I still can't get over this mermaid inspired shoot that I did with Shawna a couple weeks ago. I was surprised at how seamlessly the shoot came together, and especially the outcome of it since we had incorporated smoke grenades/bombs for the first time. I styled three beautiful gowns from Ever Pretty, and this gown in particular got me in the spring mood with the light blue lace design. I paired it with a Quartz Spike crown that I made, and you can shop it below for a creative photoshoot, or to wear for this upcoming festival season!! I'll be releasing more crowns and variations in design and color throughout the spring season, and each crown will be named after Greek sea deities.
Amatheia, a Greek Nereid, is a goddess of the sea responsible for nourishing young fish. She comes to life with this enchanting quartz headpiece. This quartz crown features multi colors of aqua, purple and pink; reminiscent of cotton candy sunset skies reflecting on foamy shorelines.
Each quartz spike is attached by beading wire onto a headband. The crown sits a bit more like a headband due to the weight of the quartz spikes. Velvet ribbon may be added to the inside of the crown for more comfort. Two small combs can be added to the sides to allow the headpiece to sit up more like a crown. (Ribbon and combs upon request and additional payment)
