Trick-or-Tea Afternoon Tea at the Disneyland Hotel

Back in July, I hosted a Bridal Party Reveal Afternoon Tea in which I asked my friends to be in my bridal party. One of my friends lives in Australia and couldn't make the tea, therefore I surprised her with a Disneyland Hotel afternoon tea when she came into town last month.

Since Halloween is in full force at Disneyland right now, and the Steakhouse 55 restaurant in the Disneyland Hotel is no exception, their 'Classic Tea Party' experience has a 'frightfully delightful twist' featuring Halloween and Nightmare Before Christmas themed bites.

Although the restaurant itself isn't decorated, this 'Trick-or-Tea' is a lot of fun to get into the Halloween mood. The service is amazing and our waiter really took care of us and was extremely knowledgeable about the teas and pairings with the food. The sandwiches and desserts were very cute and tasted good. I must say for $50/person I wasn't completely blown away by the tea, food and restaurant compared to other afternoon teas I've experienced. I think the price would be warranted if we at least had a character appearance or something a bit more festive like that.

Regardless, my friend Jacquii and I had a very special time, enjoyed the overall dining experience and we were surprisingly full off the tea and small bites. There's also a 'Premium Tea Party' option which includes a sparkling wine, which I believe is $74/person but I couldn't justify paying that much more for just a glass of sparkling wine. To reserve an afternoon tea, click here
