Lace Up Top Tucked into a Button Down Skirt

The retro style of a button down skirt has been all the rage since almost the beginning of 2015; I've seen it styled with matching tops, crop tops, and form fitting body suits. I myself have a button down denim skirt in my wardrobe, but immediately fell in love with this button down suede skirt in a rusty shade from Tobi, that I had to have it. The color is perfect for summer to fall outfit styling, and the suede is very supple, not stiff; therefore, it creates a nice silhouette when worn. It also has two front pockets which makes it easy to place a phone or lipgloss into for seamless access. For this look, I tucked a form fitting lace up front top into the skirt, and finished the look with black booties. For a hotter day, I can also wear this skirt with a basic t-shirt, tank top, or crop top. Other ways to explore retro style like this 70s inspired skirt is with retro dresses  and skater skirts  for a casual to semi formal look, or check out Tobi's gold dresses for dressier styles that are reminiscent of a vintage-silhouette or that can be transformed into a glammed up look straight from the past.
