Cafe Maji in Artesia
Miriam, Vincent, and I went up to Artesia/Cerritos for a blogger date at Cafe Maji. The Korean cafe is known for it's latte art, small plates, and beautifully presented desserts and beverages in the kitschy-clad space. Aside from an array of delicious beverages, Cafe Maji also serves a selection of Asian and American fusion foods. Upon arriving, we were promptly greeted and seated, and had our order taken and delivered in a timely manner. We were all hoping to get bear-like latte art, but the other two drinks had happy faces on them (we think because it's the lack of foam?). We also tried dumplings and truffle fries, out of the two, the truffles fries were the winning dish. I thought we would be receiving pot sticker-like dumplings, but we got these fried, rectangular dumplings. They were delicious, just not what I expected. This cafe is definitely a must-try, and I need to go to taste more teas, coffees, drinks and desserts. There are two locations available:
