Behind the Scenes: Melissa Leonette's East to West Music Video (Fire Scene)

The scene to finish filming for Melissa Leonette's East to West music video included fire dancing with fire fans and fire fingers. Fire eating was also incorporated into the scene for a really awesome, stand out effect. Dancer and fire performer Kelsie did a run down on the fire choreography for fellow dancer Lisa and music artist Melissa as well as the safety guidelines for everyone involved. All three ladies wore L'Enfant Terrible fringe pieces; Kelsie wore a fringe skirt and Lisa wore fringe shoulder pads, over their personal wardrobe. Melissa wore a fringe, studded body harness over a high neck and double slits dress from Brooklyn Harper.
We thought that the light from the fire would have been sufficient to illuminate Melissa, Kelsie, & Lisa; but we had to do take two with a bright light shining on them. Regardless of the process, it was really intriguing to see the fire performance live! Stay tuned for the finished video at the end of October.
