Three Lipstick Colors for Summer
It's the first week of summer, so naturally, I'm excited to share these three matte lipsticks that you will have to rock this season; NYX's Indie Flick (MLS 05), Shocking (MLS 02), & Summer Breeze (MLS 06) which I wore on top of their Slim Lip Liner Pencil in Natural (SLP 810).
Although I wanted to explore daring colors like orange or blue, I played it safe but still went for color with shades of pink, purple, and red. I wanted to make sure that I had a pink hue that was more subdued and on the neutral side; but still a pop for sunny days.
I had to choose a red, because that hue is a classic; and I like how NYX's Indie Flick had an undertone of orange.
For my super vibrant shade, I was inspired by the 2014 Pantone Color of the Year, Radiant Orchid. See how the lip liner and three lipsticks look below, let me know what you think! Thank you SleekHair.com for my lip liner and lipsticks! Also don't forget you can use FFF's special code: Sleekfeast14 for $10 off $20 purchase! The code expires this Sunday 6/29/14!
