{Event | Remnant Uganda Benefit Party}

Saturday evening was spent at Remnant Uganda Benefit Party at the Hurley HQ being humbled by the CEO, founders, and stories of Ugandan women that were lifted out of poverty and strife by becoming taught in the skills of sewing and screenprinting; and therefore utilizing their skills for work to be able to financially support themselves. Remnant Uganda's 'mission is rooted in empowering the abused and neglected women of Uganda. We aim to provide them with freedom from human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Invest in a brighter future for the women of Uganda. The sale of shirts, purses, and headbands equips them with education, vocational training, and financial security. Each purchase of a Remnant product solidifies them with hope for tomorrow.'
Remnant Uganda is currently only able to aid 5 Ugandan women; with your help through a screenprinted tee/tank, various headbands purchase or a simple donation will allow for the company to obtain more equipment and the resources necessary to employ more Ugandan women and give them hope, and most importantly a better and happier life. You can read the stories about the women here, and make a purchase or custom order here! 'Knowing is not an action', so take action!
