I attended the Young Hollywood Awards as apart of Bing's #mybingmoment Campaign last Thursday! Clad in an all sequins Vintage Saks Fifth Avenue dress and my most important accessory, my camera; I along with other bloggers (one of them being blogger friend Aimee/SwellMayde), reveled in red carpet craziness, snapping photos of stars involved in the entertainment industry (tv, music, film); discovering everyone's #mybingmoment, such as Miranda Cosgrove looking forward to attending USC, James Maslow touring this summer, and all of the award honorees being recognized for their accomplishments of course; as well as enjoying a glitzy glam and well-run show! I really just had a blast scurrying to capture photos of stars and young talent on the red carpet, as well as being apart of an event that celebrates these up and coming actors and musicians (or in James Van der Beek's case highlighting his vast career, and Ginnifer Goodwin in recognizing her chic and timeless style).
Some of my fave looks were Ginnifer Goodwin in Monique Lhuillier, Kiernan Shipka in Miu Miu, and Cody Horn in Marios Schwab. Some trends that celebs are crushing on right now are gradual fade manicures, cut off shorts for summer, and studded sandals. It was fun to watch the celeb interviews online after seeing them conducted in person; I couldn't imagine having to do so many interviews consecutively, but of course it comes so naturally for these stars.
