Tavern on 2 in Belmont Shore - Long Beach, CA

Ariel and I had been wanting to stop by Tavern on 2 for awhile now, and we finally got the chance to last week. You can find this gastropub nestled on bustling 2nd street in Long Beach, serving up customers faves like the sweet potato fries, roasted cauliflower, yummy burgers, and a wide array of craft beers and wines. I ordered the Pan-Seared Ahi Tuna Salad, which at first I was hesitant about when seeing that wasabi was in the salad, but the waitress reassured me that it wouldn't be spicy. The salad definitely had a kick of spicyness which was only tasted when biting into the macademia-encrusted ahi tuna. Other than that the mushrooms, cucumber noodles, and sesame vinaigrette subtly masked the wasabi.
