{Michael Stars' Style Soiree at the Fashion Island Shopping Center}

This past Saturday, the Michael Stars at Fashion Island/Newport Beach hosted a "Style Soiree", marking the end of Style Week OC. Celebrity Stylist Taylor Jacobson (you've seen her from The Rachel Zoe Project), gave one-on-one styling consultations, while Casey Reindhart of Casey's Cupcakes & Cappuccinos along with her awesome team provided yummy mini cupcakes; Benefit Cosmetics gave mini makeovers to guests, and others happily sipped on champagne and chatted with each other.

The first 75 customer received these AWESOME swag bags which included a vintage-graphic Michael Stars Long Sleeve Tee, a Harper's Bazaar October Issue (with Lady Gaga on the cover), samples from Benefit Cosmetics, L'Occitane en Provence and Melvita, a voucher for complimentary tableside Guacamole service at El Torito Grill, and discount cards to Bath & Body Works and Auntie Anne's Pretzels!

The event had a spectacular turn out, and Taylor was a sweetheart, giving fantastic style tips and advice left and right while dressed tres chic in vintage Anna Sui, and of course her signature piece...the sideways cross necklace from Roseark (sorry no Ray Bans this time)!

What a great way to end a week of celebrating the world of fashion.
