{The Filling Station Cafe}

 {Catching up with a good friend over a good breakfast at The Filling Station Cafe/Old Towne Orange}

Whenever my friend Thanh wants to meet up for breakfast, we usually go to Mimi's Cafe (who can resist their french toast?!); but this time....we wanted to try some place new! She suggested The Filling Station Cafe in Old Towne Orange. I didn't quite have an appetite for a huge breakfast, so I just ordered the oatmeal with strawberries, and Thanh ordered the french toast. Aside from the great breakfast dishes, I thought it was so interesting that the cafe used to be an actual gas filling station over 100 years ago! I will definitely need to come back to try their Banana Walnut Belgian Waffles, Buttermilk Pancakes, or the Orange Cranberry French Toast; and that's just from the breakfast menu....there's lunch and dinner too!
