Sangria & pizza?! You don’t have to ask me twice! We enjoyed wood-fired pizza, sangria, spritzes and more at Calamigos Ranch’s Gentry Market al fresco lounge space! Parking is off site (near the entrance to the driveway that leads to the front of calamigos ranch), but about a 5-7min walk to gentry market where you can see the cattle and mini horses along the way. When you reach the vineyard area (left) you’ll want to veer towards the right side and there is no designated walk path so you will be walking on the paved road that cars drive on, just stay along the right side and when you see the entrance for the resort, stick to the right until it wraps around and you’ll see a sign for gentry market.

The booking site as of 4/8 states that parking is $15. We came for a special occasion, but would I make the trek again from/to Orange County, probably not. a lot of yelp reviews say that children are just running amok, unchecked and unsupervised, it seemed to be under control when we were there, but that’s because the kids we did see were just with 1-2 parties seated away from many of the other tables. It was nice we could enjoy the visit with Lucky, and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. There was thankfully lots of shade, but I would have liked to see more upgraded seating to match the rest of the lounge seating. We were seated at metal garden tables/chairs.
