Last Ride on the Giant Wheel at the Irvine Spectrum Center before Renovation

Yes, you read it right. OC’s beloved ferris wheel, the Giant Wheel at the Irvine Spectrum Center be closing on January 11th so this is the last weekend to ride it. But do not fret, it’s closing because improvements and enhancements are being made to the wheel, which is currently en route from Italy! The Giant Wheel is set to reopen this Summer 2026 - so not too long of a wait. In the meantime, catch your last spin on the iconic Giant Wheel!

What you can expect from the major revitalization of the Giant Wheel are higher views due to the increased height of 23ft, smart programmable LED lights and enhanced comfort.
