Clarifying cleanser with Lush's Charcoal Facial Bar

This charcoal facial cleanser bar I got while shopping at Lush Oxford Street in London is a great addition to my skincare routine (bought in UK for £11 = $13, instead of $18 here) although I didn’t realize how intense the licorice aroma would be until I started using it.
I have combo skin, have used it for 2 months daily, and it hasn’t dried out and stripped my skin (I do use serum, moisturizer & hydrating mists post cleansing). Although others may need to use it less, dependent on their skin type. After cleansing, it really does leave my skin feeling so fresh & renewed. I look forward to using it after removing makeup 🧼

ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Ideal for combination or oily skin, our mildly exfoliating charcoal facial soap makes quick work of excess oil to leave your skin matte and super clean. We counteract charcoal's deep-cleansing action with soothing rosewood and sandalwood oils to reduce redness and keep your skin nicely balanced. The formula is rounded out with a cleansing liquorice decoction, giving this bar a subtle anise scent.
