Autumn Layered Style while Visiting England

Me in temperatures below 70°F is always survival mode - I mean yes I do exaggerate, but my Californian blood does not fare well in cooler temps. To prepare for my mid-November England trip, I made sure to have heat tech long sleeves and leggings from Uniqlo (these have been tried and true for keeping me warm), sweaters, jackets and heat packs like these. I am only wearing 3 layers up top for this outfit, for the rest of the trip I had to wear at least 5 layers to feel the slightest bit warm. Shop a similar look to this below!

For this outfit in particular, I knew I wanted to wear the faux shearling jacket, and I paired it with the mock neck sweater (which matched the color of faux shearling fabric perfectly). I always go for the monochromatic look up top to give a more put together, styled feel. The jacket and sweater also happened to pair perfectly with my Chelsea rain boots (which I tracked down 1 last pair at a Target near me because I specifically wanted this color of ankle wellies). While at Target, I got the comfiest boot socks - they came in a pack of 3 pairs, all with a speckled pattern. Of course it didn’t really rain while I was in England, but at least I was prepared! The worst would be if I did not have weather appropriate attire! I probably could have done with a scarf to wrap around my head and ears when the wind chill picked up, so that is one thing that I had forgotten to pack with me, but had later acquired some scarves so my ears and nose wouldn’t feel like they were falling off! The hat that I was wearing did help insulate some sort of heat around my head area.
