Ringin' in 2020 with a Roaring 20s Soiree

I am just always so blown away by how my friend Tobi styles and hosts events. To ring in 2020, Scott and I headed up to San Jose to visit her and her family; and she with her best friend Megan threw a roaring 20s new year’s eve party! I surprisingly had a lot of items in my closet that I could style together to create a 1920s inspired look. It was known for its opulence and lavishness, so I definitely wanted to exude that with my shimmery dress, rhinestone tights and all, and I mean all the accessories: gloves, pearls, bling-y earrings, headband, everything! I even prepped my hair to attempt to do an s wave curl , it’s a bit difficult with my hair since my hair doesn’t hold shape very well, but I think overall - I embodied the look with my modern take on it. Scott kept his look simple with a classic button down and trouser, complete with suspenders and a bow tie. Have you been to a roaring 20s party before? Of course this one was not complete without a charcuterie table and lots of flowing champagne! Happy 2020!
