Trying Japanese Kit Kat キットカット Flavors - Sakura Mochi and More

Say hello to the part 2 of "Tasting Japanese Kit Kat Flavors"! I got a tip from my friend Tina about new Japanese KitKat/キットカット (Kitto Katto) flavors at a nearby 99 Ranch Market so I headed over there with Scott. We got:

Raspberry - ラズベリー

It features a refreshing acidity and refined sweetness brought about by the grains of freeze-dried raspberries kneaded into chocolate. * Raspberry 10.7% used (fruit juice equivalent)

Dark Chocolate (Deep Cacao Scent) - 深いカカオの香り

I know that the U.S. has a Dark Chocolate Kit Kat, but was interested to see how the Japanese deep cacao flavor would taste. Kneaded black biscuits into chocolate to achieve a modest sweetness and a "deep, deep" taste.

Sakura Mochi Flavor - 桜餅味

A savory wafer is sandwiched with cream with cherry leaves and apricot paste and wrapped in chocolate with a bun flavor. * Uses 0.5% Sakura leaf extract powder and 0.1% koshi bean powder

Sakura Japanese Sake - 桜日本酒

A savory wafer is sandwiched with cream with a hint of cherry blossoms and wrapped in chocolate with a rich flavor of sake. * Sakura flavor, sake flavor * Use alcohol 0.07%
