Small Romantic Wedding at Pelican Hill Resort

Even though I assisted with florals and photography for this wedding back in December, the feminine florals of roses, and shades of pinks and purples are getting me into the Spring wedding mood. This wedding was so exciting to work on because it was at one of my favorite Orange County wedding venues, the Resort at Pelican Hill (in the Mar Vista Terrace) and also featured the most exquisite and lush floral arch that Shawna created.

I know more and more brides are trying to push the envelope with florals and design elements; but there's something very sweet and nostalgic about this classic, romantic bridal/wedding look and styling. I mean, who doesn't love roses on roses on roses, and tons of rose petals?! Also, the couple were just so sweet together, it really added to the overall love in the air; I seriously love how it was all captured in photos and video (I am re-living all the beautiful moments of the day; they even had a dove release)!
