Stevie Sister is an amazing free-spirited, bohemian label based locally in Orange County! The clothing line launched and was being sold in Fashion Island boutique Modern Romance (owned and operated by Theresa for over 20 years, who is also the brain child and designer of Stevie Sister) along with other notable brands such as Free People, Show Me Your Mumu, Flynn Skye, Wildfox and Chaser to name a few; and the boutique itself recently rebranded as Stevie Sister.

The boutique still carries the same amazing merchandise, and features a revamped storefront more reflective of the Stevie Sister line. I was invited by Theresa to visit Stevie Sister's new showroom space prior to her Fashion Island boutique relaunch and I got to see her newest 2017 collection up close. I selected a dress to shoot as apart of my Coachella series this year, and I am so excited to share it here! The dress can seamlessly be worn from day to night with the switch of the shoe style and adding jewelry. For this look in particular, I styled it more with hippie/boho festival fashion touch by wearing a wool hat and oversized round sunglasses. Shop the entire look here:

Shawna introduced me to this amazing perfume, Melissa Flagg Hawaiian Botanicals in Alani which is the yummiest blend of sweet orange blossoms and floral gardenias; we included it in the teepee set up and stylized shoot. I'm obsessed with it and love the packaging as well. If you'd like more info on where I got the teepee, check out the first post of this Coachella festival-inspired style series. To create the hair look featured in this post, I simply braided my hair, tied the end with a velvet ribbon and placed faux flowers into the braid. You can try different braids and also play around with real flowers (small flowers like baby's breath looks pretty woven into braids).
