Nature's Gate Wholistic Aloe Vera Shampoo & Conditioner and Body Wash Review
I've been using Nature's Gate Aloe Vera + Macadamia Oil Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner and Aloe Vera Body Wash for the last three weeks. Because my hair has been lightened a few times, it tends to dry out frequently. I was surprised to see how healthy and shiny my hair looked within a few days of using the shampoo and conditioner. Not only did I see great results, but the Nature's Gate Aloe Vera + Macadamia Oil Shampoo & Conditioner are Vegan, Non GMO, Paraben Free, Gluten Free, Soy Free, Cruelty Free, and contain NO Sodium Lauryl/Laureth/Coco Sulfates, Phthalates, Butylene Glycol, Artificial Colors - now that sounds like clean, but powerful products.
The last few months, I have making a conscious effort to transition into vegan and green skincare and beauty products; as it can prove to be quite difficult in finding great beauty/cosmetic products (although more and more brands are emerging), great strides have been made to make healthy hair and skincare products and at an affordable cost to the consumers.
I also used Nature's Gate Aloe Vera Body Wash which awakens the senses with a blend of Aloe, Blue Malva, and Sweet Almond Oil. I am indifferent to the body wash as I didn't quite see a difference with my skin, but the product definitely did not dry out my skin, so it seems to assist in maintaining my skin's moisture. I like that the body wash is packed with natural extracts and botanicals, but I was particularly not so keen on the scent - it for some reason reminds me slightly of cold medicine (this also applies to the shampoo).
Nature's Gate does offer a range of Body Wash and Hair Collection fragrances, so at least there are options for those that may like or dislike certain scents. I definitely recommend Nature's Gate Haircare range, and would be interested in exploring their facial care, oral care, sun care and deodorant lines.
