London Travel Diary Spring 2016

I'm quite excited to get to share my photo diary from my trip to London this past April! I finally was able to get all my photos together, and despite only getting to experience a couple days in my new fave city; I was able to jam pack my days with sightseeing. The first day I arrived in London, I actually had a spa treatment and store tour at the world's largest Lush store on Oxford Street (check out the photo tour here and video here); Scott and I did some shopping beforehand on Oxford Street, and afterwards, headed over to Piccadilly Circus (a busy square, resembling a mini New York Times Square) and had dinner in Chinatown.

The next day was more of a touristy day and we started at Harrods, then took in the splendor at Buckingham Palace. We walked by St James's Park over to Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, then got on the observation wheel, London Eye for spectacular aerial views of the city. Afterwards, we grabbed a Mr Whippy ice cream (wish it was here in the states...it's my favorite soft serve) and enjoyed it while walking along the River Thames. We ended up meeting Scott's uncle for dinner at Bread Street Kitchen, a Gordon Ramsey Restaurant, and ended the night with a walk to the St. Paul's Cathedralalong the river again to the Tower Bridge, walking across it and checking out the Tower of London before hopping on the Underground to head back to our hotel. I would say I got to see as much as I could for it being my first time in London, and I can't wait to come back!

Have you been to London before? If so, what were the most memorable places to visit?
