Spring Denim and Romper Style & Closet Refresh with Forever 21

While shopping for a new spring wardrobe with Jen at Forever 21, she came across this cactus romper and knew RIGHT AWAY that I had to have it! I'm absolutely in love with all things cacti, cactus, and desert-scapes, therefore this piece was a very fitting addition to my wardrobe.
I was also looking for a way to spruce up items I already have in my closet, and I stumbled upon a fun collection of enamel pins and purchased two sets. I mixed the pin collections and embellished a light washed denim jacket that I already owned and styled with the romper. Pins are such an easy way to accessorize your outfit and it's not permanent, so you can remove them with ease and accessorize on another article of clothing.
I was on the hunt for a cute and effortless (almost with a resort-vibe) shoe for the season and found a fairly large selection of espadrille styles; this one in particular had a nice (not cheap) looking faux suede and lace up front detail. There are also simpler espadrille options as well as wedge and platform styles.
Whatever you're looking for, I find that Forever 21 is great for finding classic, basic pieces as well as fun and trendy on-season pieces to refresh your wardrobe (although I am selective about the cuts and fabrics I buy as well as finding versatile styles). Get the look here:
