Gingerbread House Building for the Holidays
It's Christmas Eve! Celebrate by building a gingerbread house with family and friends, put a fun twist on it by hosting a gingerbread house building competition. The Bell Family invited Scott and I over to their lovely home for a Gingerbread House building competition. It was my first, and it was a blast! We picked up a gingerbread house kit from Big Lots for only $10, and they also had a plethora of sprinkles, candies, and other Christmas goodies at an insanely great price (a 4-piece glitter set was $2). I'm thinking by now, many of the Gingerbread house kits and what not will be at a reduced price since it's so close to Christmas. Everyone used hot glue to affix the gingerbread houses pieces together, then went to town with frosting and all sorts of candy. Check out all of the amazing and unique gingerbread houses for ideas! Scott and I took home the 'Most Christmas-y' Gingerbread House award!
