Styling a Thrifted Tartan Skirt with Statement Accessories

While checking out the RARE by Goodwill store in Anaheim, I stumbled across this classic tartan printed pleated skirt (totally Clueless vibes, just need a matching jacket) that I had to have, so I tried it on and it fit perfectly so I brought it home with me. It had an oversized safety pin at the bottom of the skirt giving it an edgier, 'punk-rock' look, so I styled it with a crop top and faux leather jacket. To complete my homage to the 90s grunge era with my twist on it, I had Dee of Swell Beauty do this awesome faux hawk braid ponytail hair style on me (check out the tutorial here) as well as add a red lip, and I wore a cherry necklace from Katy Perry's Eat Your Heart Out collection at Claire's and my fave silver mesh sunnies from ZeroUV.
