Second Look: Fall Fashion with Elison Rd, Long Beach & Seal Beach

Just when I thought I was done with plaid, it wrangled me back into it's crossbarred patterned grasp. I visited the Elison Rd Belmont Shore/Long Beach location and was in the middle of putting fall looks together when I stumbled upon this oh so cozy plaid button down. I was especially drawn to it's warm tones and soft touch. I wanted to keep this look easy-going and California coastal-chic, so I had a peek-a-boo lace bralette and faux suede ruffled hem shorts layered underneath the plaid button down (left unbuttoned), and oversized sunglasses and fringe hobo bag. Fitting that the entire look complemented by favorite camel colored fringe booties.
If you don't want to show too much skin, layer a cami or tank (have fun with a graphic printed tank) under the plaid button down; or pay homage to 90s grunge by tying the shirt around your waist. You can get this entire look from Elison Rd; the booties are the 'Louie' style from Sam Edelman.
