L'Enfant Terrible SS15 Collection 'Optica' at LA Fashion Council, Maker City LA

The Los Angeles Fashion Council opened their Spring/Summer 2015 Collections showings with L'Enfant Terrible's 'Optica' collection at the new location of Maker City LA in Downtown LA. The 'Optica' collection was "Inspired by psychology and the power of the mind, Optica features soft textures, optical illusions, and a dash of shimmer fused together to build a graphic eye catching collection. Dizzying prints paired with black and white keep playfulness at the forefront. Swaddle yourself in lambskin pleather, flowing florals, and geometric cuts for the new spring look"; which is a departure from L'enfant Terrible's Open Runway collection of dark, bondage type designs and the previous collection of funky snake prints and neon green fur pieces (which I have styled for Melissa Leonette's East to West Music Video).
It was interesting to see how L'enfant Terrible designer Haley mixed the trippy prints; and I liked the almost chainmail-effect of the sequin crochet pieces as well as the double-sided sequin pieces (see first image).
